The Streetlight Trust has been set up to support work amongst street children and their families in the Philippines.

thought we'd leave a comment as didnt know the code to add to the blog...
the first photo is of some of the children we met at smokey mountain on monday...as you can see they all loved the camera (unlike us at the airport looking tired and hot after a very long journey!)
Yesterday morning some of us (Ian and Tim took a trip to Angeles City)went out visiting street families in Manila. One woman took us into her 'house' the size of a wardrobe where 13 people were living... After a quick game,Simon became the local basketball star being 2ft taller than the local players!

I can't even begin to tell you what a unforgettable experience we're having! You'll have to come out here to see it all for yourself next year. It's well worth it. We will have more photos for you soon...we promise! If you're not already supporting Street Light (Kanlungan) then please consider doing so. God is using them to transform the lives of some of the world's poorest children. Can't wait to tell you all about it in person. We'll write again soon. Katy x x p.s. we're doing karaoke tonight!! x
Great to see some pictures, and so good to see smiles on the faces of those children. Katie and Beth loved the pictures too, and gave everyone in the airport photo a wave, they even spotted the back of Simon's head hiding behind Tim. God bless you all.
